colorfoul and has organic qualities, there are no straight angles, he does
not folows furniture norms or rules. douglas mont has been studied at the
camondo school of design (ex / starck) and trhough exploring different materials
and moulding technics he eventually favoured working with plastic.
the rotomolding
technology has given him reality to his dreams of shapes. douglas colourful
shapes are inviting to caress. the seater brings the sculptural form to
life. douglas furniture has anthropomorphic qualities. douglas describes
himself has a re-creator instead of a creator, because his creations could
have been made 40 years before ( but they haven' t ! ).
